TwinStar II by Mike Tiley

It has twin “bell motor” brushless.  The “hull” was made by cutting off and angling up the nose, then infilling the gaps with soft balsa wedges.  The planning bottom is made from liteply for the keels and formers, clad with 1/16” (1.5mm) hard balsa.  All covered with nylon/dope before painting with car aerosols.  The cowls are plastic spice jars!

It doesn’t fly off water (yet) but does nice touch-and-goes on our grass runway.  I will fit sponsons (not tip floats) when I try it off water.
